This vintage portable AM receiver is a rectangular unit with an artistic design. The Windsor 6T-220 is a six transistor superheterodyne radio that was manufactured in Japan.
The radio is simple to operate; it only has a volume/power dial and a tuning dial. It receives 535 through 1605 kHz on the AM band, which doesn't include the recent extended portion (1610-1720 kHz).
The Windsor 6T-220 also offers a built-in speaker. Like numerous small '60s and '70s portables, it operates on the power supplied by a single 9-volt battery (available at many stores).
