As its model number suggests, the PS-44 is a point-and-shoot style focus free camera. While it's not a particularly advanced 35mm model, the Vivitar PS44 does have several extra amenities.
The camera features an electronic flash, a motorized winder, and a built-in lens cover. The back door has a film pressure plate and a small window for checking the film type.
The Vivitar PS44 has a flash power switch on the front, an exposure counter on top, and a large shutter button. A downside of this camera is that it cannot be used without batteries.
