The LC600 is a basic point & shoot 35mm camera. It features a built-in lens cover and a metal hot shoe for attaching a flash. The Vivitar LC 600 does not have a built-in flash, and no batteries are needed.
This plastic camera appears to have been manufactured in black/yellow and (more common) tan/black/red color combinations. There are some brief instructions printed on the back door.
The Vivitar LC-600 is focus free; generally, cameras like this can take photos of objects anywhere from three feet away to infinity. The 600 should not be used to take close-up photographs. According to e-referencedesk.com, these are given to new members of "Signature's Nationwide Auto Club" as a bonus (as of 2002). A very similar model is the Vivitar LC-650. |
