An older police scanner, the Uniden Bearcat 210 was manufactured in a few somewhat different versions, such as the XL, XLT, etc. However, most of the design and features are the same for each.
This programmable scanner has a flat top and a slanted front panel, where the speaker, buttons, and knobs are located. There is a digital display, numeric keypad, and squelch & volume controls.
The Uniden Bearcat 210 has a few jacks on the back panel. Unlike some older scanners, it does not require the installation of a special crystal for reception of each specific frequency.
