The adapter's plugs include two Sony-style units. The user can set it to 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9, or 12 volts. The exterior of the unit is black. The maximum milliamp level of this model is 1000 mA, which is higher than many universal adapters can supply (typically 800, some only 300 milliamps). Adapters with even higher maximums are available, but typically cost more.
