This stylish black desk organizer and lamp features a highly adjustable "neck", an opaque metal shade, and a built-in AC two prong polarized cord. The Tensor 17334-001 comes with a TOSPO 13W-T3 CFL bulb and an instruction sheet.
The organizer has four mini vertical shelves, a larger slot, and a cup (for pens and pencils). It also has two shallow trays, which can hold things like paperclips or tacks. The organizer base measures about 8.5 inches long by seven inches wide.
Despite its low wattage, the 13W bulb provides a good amount of lighting and generates some heat. A label indicates that the Tensor 17334-001 lamp only accepts bulbs up to 13 watts, which include some CFLs and LEDs but no incandescents; be careful not to forget this.
A large knob on top of the lamp turns it on and off. An arrow on the knob points to the correct direction. It's easy to switch on and off after you remember which way to turn it. Overall, the Tensor 17334-001 organizer/lamp seems well-designed and works effectively.
