A small portable shortwave boombox, the Tecsun PL390 boasts two speakers, a digital LCD, and several jacks. It is moderately expensive, but costs under $80 USD with S/H (2010).
There are speakers on both sides of the front panel, with the digital display and buttons in the middle. There are also some buttons near the top, and a telescopic antenna on top.
The LCD provides a digital frequency readout. The Tecsun PL390 receives the FM, shortwave, MW/AM, and longwave (LW) bands. It is available in black, silver, or grey.
This compact radio/boombox has jacks for antenna, line-in, earphone, and DC power. There is also a carrying strap.
