This is an older color CRT-type VGA monitor. It is a nice-looking beige 14" (35.6 cm) unit. The Tandy VGM-220 first appeared in the 1992 Radio Shack catalog, with a price of $399.95 USD.
According to the manufacturer, this monitor has a maximum resolution of 720x400, a dot pitch of .52mm, and a weight just over 25 pounds (11.34 kg). It is also known as catalog number 25-4044.
Before connecting the Tandy VGM-220 to a Windows or Linux computer, set the screen resolution to 640x480 pixels. If you don't have another working monitor, use Safe Mode when booting up.
This model's predecessor was the VGM-200, which was very similar but had a .41mm dot pitch. The VGM-225 VGA monitor apparently has even fewer differences.
