This is an early 14" VGA color monitor from the 1980s. Two versions exist; the 0.41mm dot pitch 25-2041A and the 0.31mm (25-2042A). According to the instruction manual, this CRT screen can display text and graphics at resolutions of 640x480, 720x350, or 720x400 pixels. The unit weighs about twenty-nine pounds. It was sold in the United States with a one year warranty. Some high-end computers like the Tandy 5000MC had VGA video in the late 1980s, but most were still using CGA or EGA monitors. Before connecting this monitor to a modern computer, be sure to set the computer to a supported resolution such as 640x480. The 25-2042A version of the Tandy VGM 200/300 should provide a better picture quality, because of its 0.31mm pitch.
