The TA100 and 200 are two older CD-ROM drives for computers. One is faster than the other. The 1993 edition of the "Secret Guide to Computers" states that the TA-100 cost $279 and has an access time of 380 ms. The faster model 200 has an access time of 280 ms but cost $549 new. Other CD drive products available in the early '90s include the Tandy CDR-1500 and Sony CDU-561. Such drives were still a relatively new product in these years, so they remained quite expensive. These units remain useful for many purposes, but faster drive models are now available.
