This is an older clock radio with a two-band receiver. The Soundesign 3636 "AM/FM Electronic Clock Radio" offers a horizontal tuning window and a digital display.
This Sounddesign product is a rectangular desktop unit with a mostly woodgrain and black exterior. It appears to have been manufactured during the '80s. The time display uses a lighted screen rather than the old flip-style mechanical numbers.
Soundesign products have included many pocket, multiband, and AM/FM radios, as well as telephones and other electronic items.
Tip: To receive AM stations above 1620 kHz, use a newer radio.
