This vintage multiband receiver features a big speaker, a signal meter, and AC/battery operation. The Sony ICF-7760W receives a great variety of local communications and broadcasts.
The radio has a rectangular shape and a wide, horizontal tuning scale. A telescoping antenna is mounted on the back, near the top. There are two large band selection and tuning knobs on the front panel.
The Sony ICF-7760W covers the PSB (public service), TV sound (analog only), AIR (aviation), AM, and FM bands. Many multiband radios cover more bands, but often leave out some of these frequencies.
