The ICF-36 is a portable multiband unit with a mostly black exterior. It features a built-in speaker, analog tuning, a carrying handle, and a telescopic antenna.
This Sony model receives four bands; FM, AM, Weather (NOAA), and TV sound (analog only). The switch for changing bands is located on the front of the radio. The Sony ICF-36 comes in a yellow and blue box.
It is similar to the model ICF-38 receiver in features and design, but it covers more radio bands. Some GE radios also have the same general characteristics.
