The CFS-65S is a large FM/AM/SW boombox, or "ghetto blaster", with two speakers and a built-in cassette recorder. It tunes two shortwave bands and features a wide tuning scale.
This Sony has a fold-out cassette tray and speakers on the front, many controls on the top, and some jacks on the back panel. The battery cover is also on the back. It has a tape counter as well.
This boombox runs on six "D" batteries or an AC cord. With batteries installed, you can expect it to be quite heavy. Units like the CFS-65S are preferable to use around the house on AC power.
