Although people often think of s'mores as a food to make while camping, you can also eat them at home any time of the year. You might have better luck cooking them in a toaster oven as well. Here are some instructions for making them... 1. Use one marshmallow, two small squares of chocolate (milk or dark), and two halves of a graham cracker for each s'more. 2. Push down on the marshmallows with a fork to partially flatten them, then place a marshmallow and chocolate squares between each set of graham cracker halves. 3. Put the s'mores in the toaster oven with foil under them and turn on the heat. Close the door. 4. Watch them carefully to prevent burning. Push down on them (on the top graham cracker) occasionally with a fork. 5. Carefully remove the s'mores before the graham crackers burn but after the chocolate has melted. If cooked the right amount of time these turn out very good. The best settings and cooking length will depend upon your toaster oven's size and design.
