Setting/Resetting the Clock on a Microwave Oven

The process to reset or set the clock of a microwave oven is not always self-explanatory, and varies from one model to the next. It is often necessary to do this if the oven is unplugged or there is a power interruption. The following steps will reset the time on many ovens of this type:

1. Push the "Clock" button
2. Set the current time with the number buttons*
3. Press the "Clock" button again

1. Press the "Time of Day" button
2. Push the "Clear" button
3. Press the "Time of Day" button again
4. Enter the time using the oven's number buttons*
5. Push "Time of Day" again

* Most microwave ovens don't have an AM/PM setting
