This electronic "Super Phone Directory" from Seiko Instruments is a small, black unit with an LCD display. It is capable of holding a maximum of 430 phone numbers.
According to its package, the Seiko SII DF-1400 can record more than one number with each name (work, fax, home, etc), and keeps them "even if batteries go dead".
The unit's keypad has thirty-eight buttons in a QWERTY layout; the Enter button is larger, but the others are all the same size (including the space key).
Overall, it's less versatile than an electronic organizer or pocket computer, but might be a good choice if all you want to do is store telephone numbers.
