Sears AM/FM/TV1/TV2 Radio Cassette Recorder Info

This is an older radio/cassette-recorder which can receive the audio of television channels 2-13, along with regular AM and FM. It has a built-in microphone for recording, a handle, a telescopic antenna, a tone control, and many other features. This Sears product has good sound quality and reception on all bands.

The radio can be powered from an AC power cord or 4 "D" batteries, and the handle makes it easy to carry, although it is fairly heavy. Because it uses a standard AC power cord (such as those used by many older radios, small televisions and other electronics), it is easier to find (you may already have one or more) than a specific AC adapter.

UPDATE: This Sears receiver can no longer be used to pick up television broadcasts in the U.S., due to the transition to Digital TV.
