This is a light-colored portable shortwave radio receiver with analog and digital tuning controls, including numeric keys. The Sangean ATS-505P provides the current time and an alarm clock as well.
The radio also receives FM and AM. It has a digital tuning display rather than an analog tuning scale. The display shows the current frequency to a precision of 1/100 MHz (10 kHz).
The Sangean ATS-505P is also PLL-synthesized. It has a value of approximately $45 USD on eBay (plus shipping). CraigsList is a good place to look if you want to buy one locally.
