ROSS RE-1915-N RADIO

This old "13 Transistor FM/AM/SW Twin Speaker" shortwave receiver from Ross features dual telescopic antennas, two speakers, AFC, a flexible carrying handle, and three-band reception.

The Ross RE-1915-N is rectangular and has a horizontal tuning scale on the front panel, along with three chrome knobs. In addition to regular AM and FM, it tunes 4-12 MHz shortwave.

A badge on the front of the RE-1915-N reads "Around the world reception with Ross". The tuning, power/volume, and band knobs are all positioned on the front as well, which is convenient.

This Japanese-made unit runs on AC or battery power. There are AC power and earphone jacks on the back. Snaps hold the back cover closed. Four "feet" can be found on the base.
