This "Crystal-Controlled Weatheradio" is a compact, pocket-sized receiver that tunes in weather forecasts from the National Weather Service. The Realistic 12-151A features a wrist strap, a telescoping antenna, and an integral speaker.
The front of the 12-151A is silver-colored and primarily used for the speaker; the three-channel switch and battery cover are located on the back panel. The radio is simple to use, having few settings. It does not receive regular AM, FM, or other bands.
The Realistic 12-151A is powered by a single 9-volt battery, such as those used in clock radios and smoke alarms.
