KEYPAD: The keys have a "QWERTY" layout, with the numbers in a row near the top. A bit of a negative is that the SPACE and ENTER keys are both the same size as the letter keys.
FUNCTIONS: The Radio Shack EC-295 has a calculator, clock, alarm, scheduler, phone list, account manager, metric converter, and currency converter. Password protection is available.
DESIGN: The electronic organizer is black and has a folding lid. The LCD screen can show three lines at a time, which is more than some personal organizers and less than others.
BATTERIES: The EC-295 uses two CR2025 batteries, one for backup. According to RadioShack, the batteries last approximately one year, and the unit should be operated at 32-104 F.
