This RadioShack product, also known as 260-0148, consists of two light grey keyboard adapters in a plastic/cardboard package. One adapter enables an AT keyboard to connect to a 6-pin PS/2 port, the other attaches a PS/2 keyboard to a 5-pin AT port.
One adapter is round and straight, the other L-shaped. This pack ensures that your favorite AT or PS2 keyboard will work with most PCs. Testing confirmed that the adapters can also be used to adapt XT keyboards to different port types on XT computers.
The package states that the Radio Shack 26-148 is "compatible with ... 68-1965" and "custom manufactured" in China. Judging from the logo and package style, this product was probably introduced by RadioShack during the mid or late 1990s.
