About Quadram Liberty-PC Memory Board

This expansion board increases the conventional RAM of an old XT-class computer to 640K and allows a maximum of two megabytes of EMS memory to be added as well.

According to the 1994 catalog from "PC Enterprises", this 8-bit unit fits in a standard ISA slot. The Quadram Liberty-PC cost $99-119 dollars (512K or 768K), plus $29.95 for each additional 256K installed.

To reach 640K conventional RAM, the correct Quadram board to install depends upon how much base memory is already installed in the computer (64K, 128K, 256K, etc).
