This is a compact, rectangular handheld radio which was sold with lightweight detachable headphones. The Pierre Cardin radio and the headband are black, while the earpieces are red.
A headphone jack is located on top of the unit. The headphones provide audio output in stereo. White lettering lists the AM and FM radio frequencies down the front of the radio.
The Pierre Cardin "FM/AM Personal Receiver" has a large analog tuning dial which directly points to the current frequency (rather than using a separate tuning scale).
Tip: You can also try using the headphone jack with a cassette recorder or speakers (start with a low volume).
