It is a small unit that mounts on top of the camera, using the "hot shoe". The order form states that it is lightweight and runs on two "AA" batteries. The 24694 should work with most other cameras that have "hot shoes" as well.

QUICKSHOT: The Deluxe Electronic Flash is another unit that connects to the "hot shoe" on top of a camera. It was advertised for $14.67 on the instruction manual of a Quickshot 35mm camera (a.k.a. "Mango Camera"). It is compact, with a black plastic exterior and a sliding battery compartment door on the side. It will probably also work on other cameras with "hot shoes".
