This is a portable analog world band receiver with a built-in speaker, telescoping antenna, and wrist strap. According to a full-page advertisement in the 1988 World Radio TV Handbook, the RF-B20L features "Double Super-heterodyne Circuitry" and receives FM, mediumwave (a.k.a. AM), longwave, and six SW bands. The advertisement shows a receiver with "RF-B20" printed on it, but adds an "L" to the model name in the description. According to Universal-Radio.com, it was branded as either the National RF-B20L or the Panasonic RF-B20. Another analog radio model called the RF-B10 was also produced during this time period. It is a smaller unit with some similarities.
