This book provides a list of every AM band broadcast station in North America. As stations appear, change, and disappear over the years, it has been released in many editions.

It was advertised in the back of the 5th edition of "The Complete Shortwave Listener's Handbook". According to the Universal Radio advertisement, the "National Radio Club AM Radio Log" covers all stations in Canada and the United States, including a postal address for each station. It was priced at $22.95 USD, plus shipping.

Such a book can be useful in a few different ways; listeners can use it to more easily identify an AM station and its location. They could also use it to write letters to broadcasters, using the listed postal addresses. Additionally, it might be utilized to select stations that the listener will attempt to tune in.

Now in its 30th edition, the book is still available from Universal Radio. As of May 2010, the NRC's web site also listed it, but indicated it was "Sold Out".
