Model B-5XXMP is a high-end trackball for PCs. It is light-colored, fairly heavy-duty, and has a rectangular shape. Like some mice, it has three buttons. Only some software utilizes the middle button.
According to Mousetrak.com, the Mouse-Trak B-5XXMP Professional trackball sends 192-576 pulses/revolution. It is compatible with Windows 95 and NT 4.0.
The trackball uses a PS/2 port connection to send movement data to the PC. It basically works the same way as a computer mouse, but it doesn't need a mouse pad or a cord that moves freely.
