MEIKAI AR-4352/AR-4352S

The 4352 and 4352S are both moderately large 35mm film cameras with f-stop settings. They feature a metal flash "hot shoe", which allows the attachment of most external flash units. There are some minor differences between these two Meikai models.

Although not genuine SLRs, they look a bit higher-end than most Meikai cameras, and have a few more features. A ring around the lens barrel allows for adjustment of the aperture. They appear to have been sold with the following accessories included: lens cap, sunshade, pouch, neck strap, and hot shoe cover.

The AR-4352 is very similar to the "S" model, but doesn't have a plastic hand grip on the front. The placement of the film shaft and viewfinder are a bit different on these two models as well. The reason for manufacturing these two slightly different models is not clear, nor what the "S" stands for.

Although their styling and features are a bit different, the Meikai AR-4352 and AR-4352S have many similarities with the Weston WX-7 and Nishika MF-3; some (perhaps most) of their parts and accessories may be interchangeable.
