The 7760 is a compact portable receiver with analog tuning. Like other world band radios, it can be used to receive broadcasts from across the nation and around the world.

This unit was rated 1.5 stars in the 2000 edition of the "Passport to World Band Radio". While this does indicate that it is not among the top-performing portables, it should also be kept in mind that this book tends to be somewhat biased against receivers with analog tuning.
