This portable electronic device offers an FM/AM radio, thermometer, compass, flashlight, and small B/W CRT television. The TV screen is on the front and the flashlight on the back.
It comes with AC and DC adapters; it will also run on nine "C" batteries. The TV tunes analog VHF/UHF channels 2-83. It has a large tuning control on one side and a speaker on the other.
Apparently the Lord & Taylor 5-in-1 TV Companion has been sold in various color combinations. One version is red, white, and blue, with a small American flag on the side.
A folding handle is on the top. The radio/TV has an earphone jack as well. It is more compact than many such units, making it more realistically portable.
