A compact "Travelers' LCD Clock" and AM/FM radio receiver, the Lifelong MFR-88 is a nice-looking unit that features a digital clock, a built-in speaker, a hand strap, and a telescopic antenna.
The radio uses analog tuning and receives 88-108 MHz FM, as well as 525-1605 kHz AM. It is battery-operated. Buttons are used to set the clock, which also keeps track of the current date.
Its exterior is mostly black. The rectangle shaped MFR-88 appears somewhat higher-quality than more recent Lifelong models, and offers more features than the average AM/FM portable radio.
