A small digital radio, the Kaide KK-555 offers an earphone jack, a 5-section telescopic antenna, an integral speaker, a clock, and a hand strap. It is a battery-operated receiver.
Though it has a digital LCD, the KK-555 uses an analog tuning dial. Controls are located on the side and front. The unit's clock features an alarm function, which may be used as a reminder.
The receiver tunes the standard FM and AM radio bands, allowing the reception of news, sports, talk, and music. Unlike some other Kaide models, it does not receive any shortwave bands.
