The 3050 is a fairly large portable radio with a small black & white television. This vintage JVC product runs off an AC adapter, a DC cigarette lighter power cable, or "D" size batteries.
This radio can tune the AM, FM, and PSB (Public Service) bands. PSB allows for the reception of various local two-way communications. It has two controls for adjusting the audio tone (bass/treble).
Because of the change to digital television, the JVC 3050 can no longer receive TV broadcasts in some countries, including the United States. Its radio remains fully functional.
