The J101 is an old pocket-sized ten transistor radio. It is black, silver, and blue colored. It has controls on both sides and a tuning frequency window on the front panel.
Features of the Jade J-101 include a wrist strap (with metal strap holder) and an integrated speaker. It only receives the AM (also known as MW, mediumwave) radio broadcast band.
The Jade J-101 runs on a single 9V battery. It uses an internal ferrite rod antenna for reception. In summary, it is a fairly basic unit similar to many old transistor radios.
