This multifaceted alarm clock offers an indoor/outdoor thermometer, a 3-band radio, and dual alarm times. The Insignia NS-CLW01 also boasts twenty station presets, a backup battery, and digital tuning.
The radio receives the FM, AM, and Weather bands. An "Instant Weather" button immediately switches to the Weather band. At the wake time, the radio or the alarm sound may be activated.
The Insignia NS-CLW01 comes with a long, black transmitter unit that wirelessly sends the outdoor temperature to the clock. Compared to a wired setup, this is convenient but uses more power.
The clock is black with silver buttons. Its digital display is also black, with blue numbers. According to the box it is sold in, the unit weighs approximately 1 1/5 pounds.
