The Readers Digest RDA-127 is a relatively large multiband shortwave radio which can receive ten bands (AM, FM, shortwave 1 & 2, TV audio 1 & 2, weather, CB, aircraft, VHF) and also has a public address feature.

Other features include squelch and tone controls, a headphone jack, a fine tuning control, an external antenna jack, a built-in battery charger, and a dial light. It is powered with the built-in power cord, an external DC adapter, or batteries.

Similar radios include the Worldstar MG-6000, the Rhapsody RY-610 and RY-611, and the Radio Shack SW-100 (no squelch control, different style). The Reader's Digest RDA-127 appears on eBay fairly often.
