Tandy 1000 RL Computer
The Tandy 1000 RL is a compact 8086 IBM-compatible computer which was sold in two different versions, the standard RL and the RL/HD (which has a hard drive). It has a 720K 3.5" floppy drive, DOS operating system, 512K memory, built-in digital sound, and color graphics. It requires a XT-type PS/2 keyboard. Power consumption is very low.

Accessories & Upgrades: Mouse, joystick, microphone, printer, 768K memory (total), hard drive, 2nd floppy drive, VGA card, modem.

The similar but newer 1000 RLX model has a 286 processor, a regular 1.44MB 3.5" disk drive, and can be upgraded to as much as one megabyte of memory. It also has VGA graphics, unlike the RL. Click here for more details on the RLX, along with some additional 1000-series related links.
