The Ascentia 900N and 910N are two older IBM-compatible laptop computers. Both models have a 486 (pre-Pentium) processor and a 3.5" disk drive. Computers of this type are good for many types of applications, older games, and text-only web browsing.

According to wikipedia.org, AST Research, Inc. stopped manufacturing PCs in 1999, was acquired by AST Computers LLC, then ceased to exist in 2001. The support information site for the 900N, 910N, and other portables seems to have disappeared.

DOS 6.22 or Windows 1.x-3.x are probably the best operating systems to use on the Ascentia 910N or 900N. Newer versions of Windows would probably work, but run slowly; Windows 95 might function acceptably.
