Tandy DMP-130 Printer Details
The DMP130 is a dot matrix printer which was manufactured during the 1980s and capable of printing in color or B/W. The 1987 Radio Shack catalog priced it at $349. It prints 100 characters per second (or 120 for the 130A model). It is very important to use the correct cable when attaching it to a computer: see this page and here, as well as the Tandy 1000 FAQ.

Dot matrix printers have the advantage of being able to use low-cost ink and paper; they are also reliable and print quickly. These printers are good for purposes such as printing forms, large amounts of data, mass-produced documents, receipts, and other tasks which do not require high resolution graphics or solid lettering.

This model remains relatively common for a printing device from the 1980s; it can frequently be found on eBay.com auctions, either by itself or included with a computer (usually a Tandy 1000 series system). Like its supplies, the printer is usually inexpensive to purchase, and relatively light to ship.
