The KC218S is an FM/AM radio and CD player unit which mounts under a cabinet (such as in a kitchen, above the counter). This design saves counter space and holds it at a convenient height.
The GPX KC218S has a front-loading compact disc player and a digital tuning display. It may be operated using a row of buttons located on the front panel, or a remote control. It is a wide, thin unit with a silver-colored exterior.
As of July, 2010 it sells for $20-30 U.S. dollars on eBay and just under $30 at Buy.com. According to Buy.com, this GPX product has two built-in speakers and a timer function. The timer could be used to time cooking food on a stovetop.
