This is a moderately large, easy to use General Electric clock radio, probably from the 1980s. It has a woodgrain, chrome, and black exterior. It offers high quality sound, with very good reception on both AM and FM, especially for an alarmclock. There is no telescopic or wire antenna. The alarm has dual wake times (which wore out after many years of regular use); the receiver still works well. Power consumption is low (about 3-3.5 watts). The GE 7-4636C also has a battery backup feature, which uses a nine volt (9V) battery. The power cord is built-in.
