This walkie-talkie features a code key, volume control, and belt clip. The GE 3-5954A runs on the power supplied by a single 9V battery. The radio is mostly gray and black.
A talk button is located on the side of the General Electric 3-5954A, while the volume control and code key are on the front. It was manufactured in Taiwan, probably some time ago.
This GE walkie-talkie operates on only one channel, which is at the FM frequency 49.86 MHz. It does not use the CB or FRS band like many such units. Some multiband radios and scanners can receive 49.86 MHz.
A convenient extra feature of the GE 3-5954A is that it has a compartment for storing a spare 9-volt battery. If one battery runs out of power, you can always be ready to swap it for a new one.
