The GE 3-5908A is a vintage Citizens Band (CB) radio with a digital channel number display and built-in microphone. It is a rectangular, portable unit which appears to have been sold with a case.
This CB radio covers all 40 channels. It may be connected to a vehicle's cigarette lighter and/or an external antenna. Its exterior is mostly silver-colored.
The GE 3-5908A also features a built-in speaker and a sliding "Receiving Range" control on the front panel. Two knobs are located above this control.
GE marketed this compact CB radio with an emphasis on emergency use, but it may also be used for many different tasks that involve two-way communications.
