An older Super 8 motion picture and sound recorder, the film-based GAF XL/2 features a battery test function, a length counter, and a microphone jack. It is mostly black, with a lens barrel on the front and a handle on the bottom.
The GAF XL/2 camera's film counter shows the length of film used in meters and feet. It goes up to fifty feet (15 meters). The counter and microphone jack are both on the side. It will run on the power delivered by a standard 9V battery.
According to Super8Wiki.com, it has a fixed-focus lens and also features a socket for connecting a remote control unit. This movie camera is similar to the original XL model, which has many of the same features and doesn't appear much different.
