This medium-sized 35mm camera looks somewhat like an SLR, although it isn't actually one. However, the Excel Deluxe-I does have multiple aperture settings and a flash connection hot shoe.
The camera's housing is made of plastic, mostly black. It has an "Auto Fix Focus Optical Color Lens"; a lens cap or small sunshade may be mounted on the end of the lens barrel. A strap can be used with the Deluxe-1 as well. It came with instructions and a few accessories.
Another camera made by the same brand name is the Excel EX2000, which has some similarities to this model. An Excel EX-1 flash unit also exists; it is probably compatible with the Deluxe-1 and others.
