A Japanese-made multiband radio receiver, the Deltek TK-1865 tunes a range of shortwave and VHF frequencies. It operates on four UM-1 ("D") batteries or AC power (consumes a maximum of 4.6 watts, according to the specifications panel).
This Deltek Multi Band AC-DC Radio also features a large tuning knob and a moderately wide horizontal tuning scale. It receives the following frequency ranges: 1.6-12 MHz, 88-174 MHz, plus the standard AM band. The bands include FM, AIR, PSB, SW and MB.
Although it does not cover CB or UHF, the above-mentioned frequency coverage enables the TK-1865 to tune international shortwave broadcasts, emergency two-way, automated weather information, ham radio, aircraft communications and other signals.
