DeLonghi SafeHeat TRH0715 Electric Heater Review

This is an oil-filled heater with three heat settings and a thermostat. There are four small wheels on the base, which make it easier to move around.

The TRH0715 has operated reliably during about four years of occasional use. It is good for heating a small room for part of the day, though it proves costly to do more than that.

According to a wattage meter, the DeLonghi SafeHeat electric heater uses 712 watts at low, 765W at medium, and 1400W at high, except when the thermostat turns off the heat.

Unlike some appliances and electronics, this model consumes no electricity when it is turned off but plugged in. There is an AC power cord with two prongs.

The AC cord is just over 6 feet long (191 cm). There are two indicator lights on the front of the unit which clearly indicate whether it is set to off, on, or full power.

The only problem with this specific heater is that it took much longer to "off-gas" (strong odor) than the instructions said it would. A used unit won't have this problem.
