The 3000 is an older medium-sized portable shortwave radio with a large digital display. Its exterior is mostly gray and black. It is more valuable than some of DAK's other shortwave receivers.
The rectangular DAK DMR-3000 has a built-in speaker and antenna. There are many buttons on the front panel, including a numeric keypad. It also features a wrist strap.
The DMR-3000 allows listeners to tune in broadcasts originating anywhere from the same city to countries on the other side of the planet. It's easier to travel with than many SW radios.
You can ask questions about shortwave radio and post your experiences at the Multiband Radio Message Board.
